The B3XRF
file contains cross-reference information needed to convert the 230 BELD3 land use types into the 127 BELD2 land use types.
This cross-reference file is used in the program Beld3to2. The B3XRF
file contains 230 lines of data in the format shown in Table 8.82, “Format for B3XRF
”.
The BFAC
file contains BEIS2 emissions factor file. There are two different emission factor files available for use: winter and summer.
Both files use the format shown in Table 8.83, “Format for BFAC
”.
The BIOSEASON
switch file is an I/O API netCDF file used to indicate how each day in a given year should be treated, either as summer or
winter. This file can be created using the Metscan utility program. The BIOSEASON
file is time-dependent and usually contains data for an entire year (365 or 366 days). It uses one variable, SEASON, which
is either 0 (grid cell should use winter factors for current day) or 1 (grid cell should use summer factors for current day).
