The following modifications/enhancements have been made: I. Support for CAMx PM mechanism scheme CAMx CF. In order to generate PM profiles for the CAMx CF modeling scheme specify the following run control parameters - OUTPUT = PM AQM = CAMX MECH_BASIS = AE6 RUN_TYPE = CRITERIA A new input table was defined to support CAMx CF. The table specifies a list of profile ids for which FPRM is renamed to FCRS. The file 'camx_fcrs.profile.lst' is imported to 'tbl_camx_fcrs'. II. Development for Volatility Basis Set (VBS). a) generate PM with SVOC components OUTPUT = PM MECH_BASIS = AE6 RUN_TYPE = VBS AQM = CAMX or CMAQ A new input file included in the distribution package specifies the SVOC compound name and fractions by profileID for each of the AE6 profiles. All profiles must have an SVOC assignment, and all fractions must sum to 1.0 for each profile. Different SVOC names are generated depending on the AQM specified. The file 'vbs_svoc.profile.26sep2016.csv' is imported to table 'tbl_vbs_svoc_factors'. b) generate gas profiles with IVOC components OUTPUT = VOC MECH_BASIS = CB6 (or other VOC based mechanism) RUN_TYPE = VBS AQM = CAMX or CMAQ The VBS option currently implies a CRITERIA run to include IVOC calculations. Additional input files included in the distribution package specify the fraction of non-methane organic gas that is applied to estimate the IVOC component. A second table specifies the estimated molecular weight for each of the IVOC compounds. The file 'vbs_ivoc.profile.30aug2016.csv' is imported to table 'tbl_vbs_ivoc_nmogfactors'. The file 'ivoc_species.csv' is imported to table 'tbl_vbs_ivoc_species'. III. Chemical mechanisms a) CB6 and CB05 were updated to include species referenced in SPECIATE 4.5 profiles which were previously undefined. In addition seven species previously defined in CB6 were modified in order to promote consistency in methods used for some difficult-to-map compounds. b) SOA_CB6CAMX6P2 was added to the mechanism options c) SOA_CAMX45 was updated to reflect the latest version of CB05 The gas chemical mechanisms file is 'mechanism_forImport.26sep2016.csv'. IV. Informative run time messages a) For a VOC output run an additional section of WARNINGS is provided. A list of profiles that reference a species which is undefined in the chemical mechanism specified for the run is written. It is headed with - "vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv" "NOTICE: WARNING: CB6 mechanism undefined for the following species." "NOTICE: The following species are referenced by profiles and will be set to UNK." Note - preceding this list is a much longer list. It includes all species imported to the database that do not have a mapping in the chemical mechanism. Most of these species are not referenced in VOC profiles. The recently added list is provided to emphasis the actual species that are undefined and will be set to UNK.
